Tales of a Secret Rockstar

I've been having an "I hate church" kind of week this week, which is funny because church on Sunday was really good. Some guy collapsed because he had diabetes and we sang and then had a barbecue. Bizarre.
I think I've hit what most would call a "plateau." Christians call this "The desert" or something along those lines. It's a combination of too much work, not enough sleep, too much sin, not enough community, and too much thinking. Which is always a problem for me. Although I think in the end it's a good thing to think so much, but it doesn't always benefit me.

I've just deleted two separate paragraphs trying to express the same thought. I hate that. This is the thought I'm trying to express: Sometimes I think Pentecostals hide behind the Holy Spirit. When I figure out how to explain what I mean, I'll be back.
